This season’s farmer is from our very own little sleepy town of Over There. I am your host, Lynn Genet.

Promotional Trailer
Promotional Trailer II
Promotional Trailer III

Episode 1 - Meet and Greet
Episode 2 - Gone Fishing
Episode 3 - What's Cookin'?
Episode 4 - Cleaning out the Closet
Episode 5 - Final Three
Episode 6 - Final Elimination
Episode 7 - Final Elimination continues...

---------

Originator and creative director hotchpot set up the initial rules. Producer/director of Season3, CeeCee further expanded on them. So here are the rules just as hotchpot posted them, with comments explaining the extra rules in blue as posted by producer/director of Season 6, Kethwyn:

The Rules
You'll need The Sims 2 Nightlife and The Sims 2 Seasons for this to work.

INITIAL RULES:

Step one: Make a farmer. This can be a man or woman, I've chosen man.
Step two: Give your farmer three motherlodes, and build him a house. It should have the following:
• Seven beds
• An orchard large enough for all the sims to work at once in it
• A green house (again, large enough for all sims to work in it)
• A fishing pond
NOTE: you will also need things like bookcases, chessboards, and either a pool or exercise equipment.
Step three: create seven contestant sims, and move them in one by one.

DAY ONE: MEET AND GREET

See who the Farmer is most compatible with. At the start of day 1, have your Farmer do two chats and a "Check Sim Out" with each contestant Sim. At 6 PM (or whenever your Farmer has done two chats and a "Check Sim Out" with each contestant Sim), someone must go! Here's how to figure it out.

Add each contestant's relationship score (from the Farmer's point of view) PLUS five points for each lightning bolt. The Sim with the lowest score leaves!

The "First Impression Clause"

Attraction and chemistry in the sims is a funny thing. It can speed up the growth of friendships and or make it harder for two sims to become friends, much less fall in love. Sims with three bolt matches are usually hard to come by, but they do happen... and they might happen while doing this challenge. My simming friend CeeCee posed the idea of an addendum to the first day which gives sims with such special chemistry a little extra boost. The "First Impression Clause". Sims with 3 bolt chemistry get an extra 5 points tacked on to their score for the first day only (you never get a second chance to make a first impression). It may not allow them to win the challenge, but it should hopefully help them make it to the second day. And such a scoring change makes sense to me because we've all met people we think are OMGHawt but turn out to be total @*%$ when we get to know them better.

DAY TWO: GONE FISHING

A Farmer's wife has to be resourceful, and good in the outdoors. When the contestant Sims wake up, have them work in the garden all at once. Tell them all to Tend the orchard and the garden. If they stop tending, you can't make them go back and tend some more.

Later in the day, have all contestants go fishing, at the same time, in the pond. Again, if they walk away, you can't make them go back. Whoever has the most fish by 6 PM cannot be eliminated.

Tally the scores for Day Two like this:

Relationship score (from the Farmer's point of view) PLUS 10 points for each lightning bolt PLUS 5 points for each boot caught and 10 points for each fish caught. The person with the lowest score leaves.

DAY THREE: WHAT'S COOKIN'?

A Farmer's wife must be a good cook! In the morning, same as Day Two, have your contestant Sims tend the garden and orchard. After that, make sure that everyone's needs are at about the same level, and have each contestant Sim study Cooking. If they say they are not in the mood or won't do it, you can't make them! If they study only for a little while and then get up, you can't make them go back.

Have your Farmer do one share interests and one gossip with each Sim.

At the end of the day tally scores like this: Relationship score PLUS 5 points for each Cooking point PLUS 10 points for each lightning bolt.

NOTE: by now your Farmer might be Best Friends or have a Crush on some of your contestant Sims. Give them 10 points for a crush (only if the FARMER has a crush) and 20 points if they're Best Friends. The person with the lowest score goes home.

DAY FOUR: CLEANING OUT THE CLOSET.

A Farmer's wife has to be pretty clean. Have your remaining contestant Sims study cleaning. Same as the cooking challenge. In the afternoon, have the Farmer form a casual group with all the remaining Sims and go on a group date (it must be somewhere where they can eat a meal together).

At the end of the day, tally the points: Relationship PLUS 5 points for each Cooking Point PLUS 10 points for a crush, 20 points for Best Friends, and 10 points per lightning bolt.

DAY FIVE: FINAL THREE

A Farmer's wife has to be SMART: Have all contestant Sims sit down at their own chessboard, until 6 PM or until they all get up and leave. Get everyone's needs level up to about the same place and have them all go out for a group date--dancing!

When they get home, tally the points: Relationship PLUS 5 points for each Logic Point PLUS 10 points for a crush, 20 points for Best Friends, and 10 points per lightning bolt. If your Farmer Sim is in love with any contestant Sim, they get 50 extra points.

DAY SIX: FINAL ELIMINATION

Your Sim will go on a Private Date/Outing with each of the two remaining contestant Sims. It's imperative that both contestant Sims do not go at once, or else you'll have a lot of angry Sims on your hands.

On the date attempt flirting and kissing. A kiss is 30 points, and a makeout is 50. A woohoo is 100. If your Sim rejects any of these, you will subtract 10 points from the final score.

Final scoring goes like this.
• Farmer's Relationship score PLUS Contestant's relationship score
• Then add up all the points your contestant Sim has gleaned: 10 points per point
• Then give 10 points for each lightning bolt.
• 10 points for a crush
• 20 points for Best Friends
• 50 points for in Love

When running her challenge, CeeCee noted one other thing: Badges aren't counted anywhere in the scoring. Contestants should have some sort of badge in gardening by now, and possibly one in fishing as well. CeeCee proposed a scale for badges as well, and I'm including those in my planning scoring too.
• Bronze Badge = 5 points
• Silver Badge = 10 points
• Gold Badge = 15 points

Then add the score for the Final Date: kisses, flirts, woohoos.
Whoever has the highest wins, and gets the Farmer, his house, the money, etc.

---------

Previous Seasons:

Season 1: Old McSGT had a Farm (Farmer wants a wife) - by Heather
Season 2: Farmer Takes a Wife - by DebC
Season 3: To be a Farmer's Wife - by CeeCee
Season 4: Captain Needs a Husband - by Angelia
Season 5: Farmer Wants a Wife - by Aeronwy
Season 6: Farmer Wants... - by KethwynRoohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-47398247789029823592009-06-16T18:13:00.004-05:002009-06-16T18:47:08.530-05:00FWAH: Episode 7 Page 6*Theme Music*

The view comes in to focus to the familiar view of the front door signifying the end of events and the anticipation of the exiting contestant. Footsteps can be heard approaching the door. They falter. Muffled yelling can be heard as well as perhaps someone crying.

The front door is thrown open. A rather upset Brandon can be seen. He pauses remembering the cameras and walks off the lot to the waiting car.

As he approaches the camera, he gives no indication of his mood, the only give away is his fists, clenching and unclenching.

Lynn’s soft voice can be heard off screen, “Hello Brandon.”
Brandon huffs. Lynn tries again, “I take it you don’t agree with the final results?”
Brandon scoffs. Lynn takes a deep breath, “Well I’m sorry you feel this way. Suzi is a grown woman. She has made her choice.”

Brandon laughs, “She had it made for her. Gilbert manipulated her. He cheated! That’s got to be it. Why else would he be there and I am here?”
“Cheated? How could he have managed to cheat?”
“Oh come on! Think about it. Lets see… he poisoned her mind for one. Told her lies about me and the other guys I’m sure. He probably even told her about my stash he tossed!”
Lynn’s voice grows quiet, “I wish you hadn’t said that. Gilbert refrained from implicating you in anything. Neither to us nor to Suzi…”
Brandon looks at her dumbfounded as he’s escorted off screen by a policeman who is calmly reading him his rights.

The audience find themselves back in the farmhouse for the last time. A tearful Suzi is held in Gilbert’s strong embrace, their words muffled and soft, a word here and there can be understood though her soft sobs. “I know. I know. I’m sorry. I should have told you sooner.”
Suzi nods quietly, “I didn’t realize it was that bad. I mean, I figured it out, but wow.”
Gilbert scoops her up, cradling her in his arms as he carries her to the couch. sitting her in his lap.

“The night I stayed here. The night you all went to the club. I found his stash. I threw it out. I thought it was just the alcohol but Danny knew. He knew it was more. One of us had to go with you and watch over you. He volunteered to stay and search, but I didn’t want him jeopardizing his position for a hunch.” He wipes her tears from her eyes, “I had to make sure you were safe. Even if it meant you chose him over me. I had to make sure.”
“You do love me.”
Gilbert grins big and kisses her passionately, “You bet your life I do.”

The screen fades, the theme music plays and the credits begin rolling:

Day 6
Date: A kiss is 30 points, a makeout is 50 and a woohoo is 100.
Brandon Zackery - 180
Gilbert Portis - 180

Brandon Zackery - 13 skills, 2LB, crush, BF, Love, bronze garden
200+185+130+20+10+20+50+5=620+180=800
Gilbert Portis - 13 skills, 3LB, crush, BF, Love, bronze garden
200+200+130+30+10+20+50+5=645+180=825

Main FWAH Page

Back to Over There

Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-45728478803473302182009-06-16T18:03:00.002-05:002009-06-16T18:47:28.575-05:00FWAH: Episode 7 Page 5*Theme Music*

They arrive back on the farm. Gilbert meets them outside, he pulls Suzi in to his arms and he holds her. Brandon grumbles something incoherent and walks in the house. Gilbert grins, “I should have known… I should have had more confidence. I’m sorry I doubted.”
Suzi looks at him utterly confused, yet not moving from his embrace. “I don’t understand.”
Gilbert chuckles, “Of course not… its not important. I’m glad you’re home safely.”
She looks at him questioningly, searching his eyes, she smiles softly, “Have more faith in me. I’m smarter than you think.”

“Then you must be brilliant.” Gilbert kisses her softly with a small peck on her lips. Reluctantly he releases his embrace, “Did you have a good time?”
Suzi fidgets and grins, “Yes but…”
Gilbert looks amused and holds up his hand, “I am never going to ask for details. Just glad you’re back.” He takes her by the hand and they walk in to the house together.

We meet up with the guys sitting alone in the living room. Suzi is off some where unseen as the guys talk. Gilbert shakes his head, “Nah basketball of the 80’s was much better. They had finesse. They had class. They had skills and most importantly, they had teamwork.”
Brandon shakes his head in disagreement, “No way, were they better. The players today could clean the floor with them! They’re bigger, their stronger, their more talented.”
“Think about this, why were the Spurs a team to be reckoned with? Teamwork. The twin towers were a power to behold. They played together. None of this showboating you have now with that joke from the Lakers, Kobe.”
Both guys go quiet as they hear Suzi emerge from her bedroom.

The guys get up immediately, Suzi hesitates before speaking, takes a deep breath as the audience holds theirs. “I’ve been thinking… a lot… and while I’m extremely fond of both of you, there can be only one winner.” She looks at Brandon and smiles, “Brandon, you’re a strong man. Clever. Handsome and great with your hands.” Suzi suddenly feels the flush of a blush rushing to her cheeks and she grins trying desperately to continue.

She turns to Gilbert and smiles taking another deep breath, “Gilbert, you too are strong. Your sense of humor and sense of what is right. It takes my breath away. Who knew a renaissance man still existed in this day and age?”

“While I admire you both in different ways, I find myself falling in love with one of you.” She pauses and looks at both of them. “I also feel as if one of you can possibly return my love. At least I hope I’m right.”

“I also feel as if one of you sees me more as a prize, I suppose in a way I am. I hope the winner will feel I am more than just a prize.” She smiles at them both once more. “I also want to thank you both for being here. I’ve enjoyed getting to know you both.” Moved to almost tears, she bites her lip, her voice cracks with emotions, “Brandon… Gilbert… I have made my choice.”

For the last time the camera focuses on the front door waiting for the final departing contestant. Lynn’s voice can be heard off camera, “Lovely of you to come visit us at such short notice, Gilbert.”
Gilbert chuckles, “You say that as if I had a choice.”
“Everyone has choices. Some are simply not as wise as others.”
“Well said. So what can I do for you this fine evening?”
“Your little date brought on some fast responses, mostly via email a few by text…”
“Text? I didn’t realize you had that kind of service for the show.”
Lynn laughs, “We don’t! The texts would be from friends of mine demanding answers. Not that I gave any and I do hope they’re still my friends once this is over…” They laugh together, “That said. They all want to know one thing.”
Gilbert’s eyebrow shoots up questioningly, “Oh?”

“Yes, that too… but in the spirit of television and my deep rooted desire to remain employed that question can remain unanswered… for the moment. No the viewers want to know what it is you and Danny were in cahoots over.”
Gilbert looks amused and relieved as the question is revealed, “I take it Danny didn’t tell you. Or perhaps Danny did tell you and you’re simply asking me to collaborate on his version. Either way, I won’t be able to tell you. At least not now…”
A soft sigh can be heard off screen, one can only assume it is Lynn, “Gilbert, it’s the eliminations. When can we expect an answer?”
“Win or lose, I’ll tell you after I’ve had the chance to talk to Suzi about it.”

There is a brief moment of quiet before Lynn responds, “Agreed. Now about the other question….”
Gilbert throws his head back with a roar of laughter, “A gentleman does not kiss and tell.”
“Are you claiming to be a gentleman?”
“Now I never said that…”

The audience find themselves back at the diner. The jukebox is playing an old love song. Brandon is seen leading Suzi to the dance floor, he twirls her once in to his arms and pulls her close. Suzi glides across the floor into his arms effortlessly, her fingertips slide up his strong arms allowing herself to be moved around the dance floor. The audience catches glimpses of other diners as some smile at the couple and others simply ignore them. They are the only ones on the dance floor.

Brandon slows their dance as the song comes to an end, he kisses her forehead before he releases her. “Thank you for tonight.”
Suzi’s eyes flutter, she takes a breath, “I had a good time. I’m glad you’re such a good sport and don’t mind losing to a girl.”
Brandon chuckles and kisses her lips, holding her hand he leads her towards the door.

Brandon expertly ushers her in to the front seat, walks around the truck and puts the keys in the ignition. “Brandon?”
“Yes?”
“I thought you said I was driving home?”
Brandon takes his hand from the ignition and place them both on the steering wheel. His hands gripping and releasing the wheel as he sits in quiet contemplation. “You’re serious?”
“Yes.”
“Really?”

Brandon grips the wheel once more, closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. “Suzi…” His eyes fly open as he hears the tinkling of the keys. Suzi managed in the short time he had his eyes close to reach over and pull them out of the ignition.
Suzi sits with a determined look on her face, keys in hand, “I gave you the benefit of the doubt. While I realize you hadn’t technically said you would let me drive, you only asked ‘if’ but I wanted to believe it was an oversight by you and not you trying to appease me.”
Brandon smirks and chuckles, “You’re smart and beautiful. Fair enough. You can drive, if you can get me out of this seat.” He waggles his eyebrows playfully.

Relieved Suzi smiles at him, “That’s easy. Kiss me.”
Brandon looks at her and moves in for his kiss, feeling he has her pinned against the seat and no way to remove him from his current seat, he pulls her closer to the middle of the seat and stops, his lips inches from hers, “now what was it you wanted from me?”

Wordlessly she pulls him closer, kissing him softly at first, teasingly, he growls as his hunger for her grows. She grabs his hand that was on her leg for leverage, pushing him back in his seat, she swings her leg around and straddles him.
Brandon grabs her ass firmly in his hands pulling her closer, letting her feel the affect she has on him, she moans deeply and kisses him. Pinned between him and the steering wheel she moves her hips against him whimpering. Her lips move towards his ear as she whispers to him, his eyes close and he moans. He slides towards the other side, bringing her along with him. Their hunger heating up the car, the windows begin fogging up due to their heavy panting.

What can only be Suzi’s voice can be heard through the steamy car window, “Oh. Oh! Mmmm… oh Brandon.”
The truck rocks faster as more sounds of passion are heard, the screen fades to commercial.Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-32803661343668041902009-06-15T12:19:00.003-05:002009-06-16T18:48:08.869-05:00FWAH: Episode 7 Page 3*Theme Music*

The camera comes back to focus on the couple as they are addressed by a host. She smiles a confident practiced smile that doesn’t quite make it to her eyes, “Yes, there is a table towards the back. A private table as requested by the gentleman.” She grabs two menus and leads the way for them. She places the two menus on the table settings in very practiced moves, flashes them a smile once more before leaving them to their meal. “Your waitress, Veronica will be over shortly.”

Seated at their table Suzi peruses the menu for something to catch her eye. Slightly disappointed with the menu choices she keeps her voice light, “So what are you going to order?”
Brandon hasn’t glanced at his menu, “A cheeseburger. I mean, it’s a diner. You can’t expect a place like this to have a good steak, right?”
Without looking up, she nods and continues to search for something… anything… she finally gives up and looks at the desserts. “Hmm, they have a nectarine tart here. I wonder if its any good.”
Brandon glances at her, “Order it, if it’s not good, you can send it back for something that is.”

Brandon takes a drink from his glass, savoring the relief as it coats his parched throat. Still looking at her menu, she bites her lip. “I don’t remember anyone bringing us water. I suppose they forgot mine. Mind if I have sip of yours?”
Brandon’s glass never leaves his lips until the liquid is drained. The ice tinkles merrily to the bottom of the glass as he sets it down, “I’ll get one for you.”
He waves down a passing wait staff and hollers out to him, “Two glasses of water.”
The busboy nods and scurries off to fetch the water.

Suzi lowers her menu, folds her hands on the table and speaks quietly, “I think I’ll have the nectarine tart.”
Brandon grins, “Good for you. Stick with what you know.”
Just then Veronica approaches, “Hi, I’m Veronica. I’ll be your server tonight. Can I start you off with some drinks and maybe an appetizer?”
Brandon smiles and nods enthusiastically, “A drink sounds good. Gin and tonic for me. Suzi, what do you want?”
Suzi looks at him a bit concerned, “Nothing from the bar thanks. I just had a beer, I think one of us needs to keep a clear head.”
Brandon laughs, “Don’t fret. My head is plenty clear.” He looks up at Veronica, “Two gin and tonics. I’ll take an omelet, cheese, ham, bacon, mushrooms, peppers, red if you have them and hold the onions. I hate onions. She will have the nectarine tart, warm with a side of vanilla ice cream.”
Suzi wrinkles her nose at Brandon, “I’m lactose intolerant.” She shakes her head at Veronica, “Skip the ice cream.”

Veronica smiles at them both, the kind of smile that goes all the way to her eyes and lights them up. Once she is through repeating the order to them she moves away to give them privacy. Brandon looks a bit dumbfounded at Suzi, “What?”
He shakes his head, “Sorry. I didn’t know.”
Suzi shrugs, “How would you? Unless you took note of the soy products in the fridge…”
Brandon’s eyebrows knit as he concentrates. “Huh. Is that why it tasted funny? Here I thought it was just ‘fresh’ from the dairy or something.”

Suzi laughs softly, reaches out and pats his hand, “Don’t worry. I don’t expect you to know everything about me.”
Brandon gives her an odd look as if he wants to say something, changes his mind and his face clears once more. He takes her hand in his and gives it a squeeze.
At this time the busboy returns with water and tries to pour it in their glasses. He looks at the table noting one glass and quickly returns with a second filling both with water and ice from the pitcher.

Brandon stares at his glass quietly, “Suzi, have you thought much about the future? I mean, past tomorrow, past next month. What you think you’ll be doing this time next year? Maybe two?”
Veronica returns with the drinks and places them on square napkins, flashes them both a quick grin and walks away. Without a word, Brandon takes his drink and drinks it down. Sets the empty glass on the table next to her water and grabs the second drink.
Suzi sits stunned silent, once her racing mind slows a bit, “I take it the second one wasn’t for me after all. Nice to know you listened, I suppose.” She cocks her head and presses on, “How many have you had Brandon? Maybe I should drive home.”

Brandon lowers his glass slowly. He closes his eyes briefly before responding, “I am fully capable of driving us back. I’m not drunk.”
Suzi’s concern rises, “When is the last time you ate?”
Brandon shrugs noncommittally, “Breakfast. I’m fine.”
Suzi’s expression changes drastically, its as if alarm bells are going off. “Brandon. You are ‘not’ fine. Your judgment is impaired. I’m sure you know what the ramifications are if you were to be pulled over.”

Brandon sets his glass down as their food arrives. The tension at the table builds. The pair sit quietly eyeing their food, occasionally taking a small token bite. Suzi feels as if she has been pulled in to an inescapable pool of quicksand. “If I let you drive, will that make you happy?”
Suzi sighs in relief, “Yes.”
Brandon simply nods and takes another bite of his omelet.

Brandon notes Suzi’s more relaxed state and grins. “You’re really something, Suzi.”
Chuckling she notes his playful manner is back, “Of course, how else would I manage to keep the attention of the contestants?”
They laugh together, “I’m serious. I just thought you should know.”
Suzi blushes, “Thank you, Brandon.” Suzi suddenly stops and watches him carefully as he eyes her tart. She laughs once more taking Brandon by surprise, “Oh so this is why you’re buttering me up? You want my dessert!”
Brandon laughs easily, “Nah, if I wanted some I’d just take some!”
“Brave words…”

Brandon moves quickly, he goes for a bite of her nectarine tart, he moves his fork back with his prize teetering on his fork only to be denied the delicious morsel by a flick of Suzi’s fork. He groans as he watches the piece he anticipated savoring falls neatly back on her plate. “Oh you’ll have to move faster than that…”
Brandon gets a mischievous glint in his eyes, leans in to kiss her, his lips inches from hers, she can feel his breath on her lips. Her tongue runs across her parted lips in sweet anticipation of his kiss.
“Suzi…”
“Yes?”
He promptly plops a bite of her tart in to his mouth then kisses her quickly with a soft peck, his eyebrows wagging up and down and a smug grin of victory on his handsome face. She laughs pleased with his cleverness

“If you wanted a bite, you just had to ask.”
He looks at her with a smirk, “Now what fun is that?”
She scoops a small bite for him on her own fork, carefully balancing it she holds it out for him. Their eyes locked as she waits for him, he leans closer, his lips part in preparation to take the proffered bite, she moves the fork from him and kisses him softly before feeding him the dessert.
“You’re right, that bite was much tastier.”

Their food eaten, they remain seated enjoying each other’s company, she makes a mental note of which glass he grabbed. Quietly she sips her water.

The screen fades to a commercial break.Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-55475105467689138202009-06-11T13:26:00.004-05:002009-06-16T18:48:27.322-05:00FWAH: Episode 7 Page 2*Theme Music*

We find ourselves once more in the farmer’s bedroom. Suzi sits finishing her make up and giving herself one last glance to make sure she is just right. She grins at her reflection and fluffs her short hair giggling. Sighing softly, looking rather pleased with herself, “I should have done this years ago.”
She turns her head left than right admiring the new do. Her eye catches a glimpse at the clock on the table, noting the time she gasps, closes her lipstick in a hurry and rushes towards her bedroom door.

Suzi finds Brandon waiting for her by the door, she approaches him breathlessly, “I’m sorry! I lost track of time.”
Brandon simply grins at her, taking in her beauty as she tries to apologize again. “You’re not late. I was just early. I guess I’m pretty anxious to have some alone time with you at last.” He keeps grinning and touches her hair lightly, “It looks great. You look great.”
Suzi giggles at the compliment, “Really? You like it? I kinda like it too. I don’t know what possessed me to do it really, but I’ve been meaning to do ‘something’ with my hair and…” she takes a deep breath and they both laugh. “I was a bit nervous about my hair really. It’s such a change from what I’m used to.”

Brandon wraps his arms around her giving her a hug, holding her close, pressing his nose in to her hair and inhaling. “You’re gorgeous.”
Suzi melts in his arms, relieved and moved, “Thank you, Brandon. You look rather handsome yourself.”
He kisses her softly and steps back, his mischievous grin firmly in place. “I have a surprise for you.”

Suzi looks at him in anticipation, “I love surprises.”
“Well then, lets head out. I’m driving.”
Suzi blinks and glances at the door, “Driving? You’re… driving?”
Brandon chuckles and nods, pulling out the old truck keys from his pants pocket, he holds them up for her to see them. She looks from the keys to him and back again. “I don’t understand. It’s been broken for months… years…”
Brandon grins bigger, “Yes, well it’s fixed now. Shall we go?”
Suzi lets out a squeal and throws her arms around his neck, hugging him tight. “Thank you!”

Brandon pulls the truck up to the building and parks. Suzi opens the door slowly and stares wordlessly at the building. She looks at it nervously before looking towards Brandon. He makes his way around the back of the truck and to her side noting her hesitation. “Is this not okay? Would you rather go somewhere else?”

They stand staring at the building, both rather nervous now. “No, this is fine.” Suzi keeps staring up at the building.
Brandon sounds unconvinced, “Are you sure?”
Suzi takes his hand in hers and gives it a reassuring squeeze. “Yes, it’s fine… it’s more than fine, it’s great.”

Still unconvinced, Brandon turns to face her, keeping eye contact he tries once more, “We really can go somewhere else. I thought you’d like it.”
Suzi giggles, “Brandon, relax. I love bowling. I’m just… not your typical girl. I won’t ‘let’ you win. I’m very competitive.”
Brandon laughs relieved, “Is that all? No problem then. I’ve only bowled once and that was years ago. I just remembered it was a blast.”

After debating with the bowling attendant about the cleanliness of rented shoes, Brandon finally settled on a pair and put them on. Staring at them, he moves his feet this way and that looking at them with horror and disgust. “I don’t remember shoes being this ugly.”
Suzi laughed merrily and helped him pick out a ball before pointing him to an alley. Standing there he stares down the pins, ball in hand, feet in rented shoes, he approaches the line for his first frame.

Shuffling his feet towards the line, he can’t remember which foot he was supposed to end with and teeters at the line, throwing the ball a moment late and finding the momentum trying to pull him forward across the line.

Brandon manages to catch his balance and lost sight of his ball, he heard a noise that would indicate he hit something but thought it could also have been the lane next to him.

Holding the ball in her hands she looks down the lane, gracefully stepping forward taking her counted unrushed steps she glides and lunges towards the line, the ball swinging like a perfect pendulum leaves her outstretched hand rolling relentlessly towards the pins, knocking each and everyone down for a strike.
“Yes!” She exclaims triumphantly, “And that is how it is done, Ladies and Gentlemen!” Suzi does a small victory wiggle at the line and turns with a vibrant smile to join Brandon back at the seats.
The pair continue in much the same fashion for the next nine frames, Brandon thrilled to hit anything and Suzi relentlessly finishing with a clean game.

Brandon takes Suzi by the shoulders, shaking his head, “How in the world did you do that?”
Laughing Suzi beams in her victory, “I told you. I love to bowl and I warned you, I am very competitive.”
“Well thanks for schooling me. While I may be great with engines, I know nothing about bowling.” Brandon smoothly pulls her in to his embrace kissing her deeply leaving them both breathless.

“You may have won in bowling. I believe I’m the winner. I get to spend the evening with you.”
Suzi’s soft smile warms his heart, making him brave, or perhaps it was the four beers, he leans in for another kiss, his hands roaming and caressing her back, pressing his bodies to hers. Her voice raw with emotion as his name crosses her lips, “Brandon…”

The screen fades to a commercial break.Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-9619010989396698502009-06-05T16:42:00.011-05:002009-06-16T18:51:24.630-05:00Episode 7: Final Elimination continues...*Theme Music*

The camera comes in focus to our usual view. Lynn Genet smiles easily, twinkle in her eyes as she looks upon her unseen audience. “Well now, last episode was rather riveting. Who knew Gilbert was a romantic at heart? He’s always appeared to be a jokester, easy going and dare I say not much depth. Happily I can say, I am wrong about him. He has shown a side to him that was quite unexpected by this host. Makes you wonder what magic lies ahead for our farmer and her next date.”
Lynn gracefully crosses the screen, allowing her profile to be viewed by the masses. Her lovely petite form pauses momentarily as if a thought struck. She turns to the camera instead of exiting and addresses the fans, “Brandon’s date is next. A mystery still remains. Will we finally get some answers now that we’re down to the final eliminations? What is with Brandon’s sudden mood changes.” She begins to move off camera once more, “Suzi has a date with destiny. A handsome man waits to woo her, to dazzle her. He has but once last chance.” She casts a grin over her shoulder gracing her audience with one more mischievous look. “The question of the night: Can Brandon step up and be a better man than Gilbert?” She shrugs her slim shoulders and walks off screen. The camera goes dark as the audience anticipates the customary view of the farmhouses.

Lynn’s voice can be heard off screen in a narrative tone, “While Suzi and Gilbert were off on their date, we had ourselves a little visit with the other remaining contestant.”

“Hello, Brandon, lovely of you to take the time to come see us this evening.”
“Hey, Lynn, it’s good to be here.” Brandon smiles confidently at the woman just off screen. He briefly glances at the camera set on him and grins at the unseen audience, raises a hand in a half wave, “Hey, Everyone. So uh, Lynn… what’s up?”
“Just wanted to touch base with you while we had the opportunity. There have been a few rather tense moments with our lovely farmer.”
Brandon’s eyebrows draw together, his face becomes tense, he fidgets before the camera. “Ya. You could say that.” He glances from Lynn to the camera and back. He takes a deep breath to relax and looks Lynn square in the eyes, “Things got out of hand. We all care for Suzi, she’s a swell girl and a helluva looker. Men are simply competitive beasts.” His gaze wanders as he speaks, he looks as if he’s searching for answers, he appears to have forgotten he isn’t alone with his thoughts. “I don’t know what their issue is. I’m just me. I can’t be anything but me. Yanno? I really like her. I mean ‘really’ like her. I just can’t seem to find the right way to say it or show it without one of them making me look bad or making a big deal about it… I don’t know. I mean, I really just don’t get it. So I had a few, he didn’t have to get all preachy with me. You’d think he was some saint or something. Then to find out he’s been through my stuff. Man that pissed me off, I mean who the *boop* does he think he is any way? It’s my stuff! And then he trashes it? Man pisses me the *boop* off…”
“What ‘stuff’ did he ‘trash’, Brandon?”

Brandon appears to snap out of his thoughts and back to the present, “What?”
Lynn prompts him, “What ‘stuff’ of yours did Gilbert ‘trash’?”
Brandon’s eyes widen momentarily, recovering his nonchalant demeanor he grins at Lynn, “Oh, it was nothing important.”
Lynn tries another approach, “I see, so Brandon, how are you handling tonight? Knowing Gilbert is off with Suzi on a private date must be nerve racking.”
Brandon’s ‘mask’ slips as he flinches visibly, “Fine. I’m fine. It’s fine. I even worked on a nice surprise for her. I’ll present it to her tomorrow.”
“Well now that was very kind of you. I’m sure she will appreciate it. So you have given much thought to your date?”
Brandon shrugs, “It’s getting late… they’re okay right? I mean… your crew would like call you if there was an accident or something… right?” Brandon looks around agitated.
“Of course they would, besides its only 9 o’clock.”

The audience finds themselves once more at breakfast in the farmhouse. Brandon and Suzi are sitting quietly enjoying their pancakes. “Did you have a good time last night?”
Suzi scoots the pancake around her plate a bit, “Yes. It was a very nice evening.”
Brandon nods a few times and stabs his pancakes, “That’s good.”
Suzi watches his fork quietly and bites her lip, “What did you do last night?”

Brandon looks up from his pancakes, “Me? Uh… not much… oh, I got pulled in to the studio for a quick interview with Lynn.”
Suzi keeps her eyes lower at his pancakes as he continues to stab them idly with his fork, “Oh? How did that go?”

He shrugs and grins sheepishly, “Okay… I guess. I was there forever. Or at least it felt like it. Lynn says hi by the way.”
Suzi nods and smiles, “She’s nice.”
Brandon’s mood turns sour quickly as whistling can be heard as Gilbert approaches the kitchen, his grip tightens on his fork and gets quiet once more.

Suzi notes the change and cringes momentarily, her voice soft and low, “I went to check on the garden but you seem to have already taken care of it. Thank you.”
Brandon shrugs, remaining silent and resumes eating his pancakes.
Gilbert can be heard from the kitchen, his whistling interrupted as he greets them both warmly, “Good morning you two.”
Suzi blushes warmly and smiles, “Good afternoon, Gilbert.”

Setting his plate down he makes himself comfortable, grinning across the table at Suzi he winks at her and begins digging in to his pancakes. Suzi watches him in amazement at his appetite, “hungry?”
“Ravenous!” He chuckles at his own humor and continues.
Brandon’s voice is low, once he finally speaks again, “We can go later tonight when you’re ready. I was thinking around 7 tonight.”
Suzi smiles warmly at him, “Okay. I’ll be ready.” She looks at Gilbert and laughs shaking her head. “I have few errands to run. I’ll be back in a bit.”

Gilbert waits until she is gone before he addresses Brandon, “Listen. Be careful tonight.”
Instantly Brandon stiffens in his chair, staring ahead of him, his nostrils flaring. Gilbert tries once more, “I’m not trying to tell you how to go on your date, I’m just saying… I don’t know. Don’t hurt her. Got it?”

Brandon pushes his chair back and stares at him coldly, without a word, he gets up and takes his plate to the kitchen to rinse. Gilbert watches him walk away, “Brandon.”
Brandon ignores him and leaves Gilbert sitting alone with his pancakes.

The screen fades as Gilbert sits alone at the table, breaking for commercial.Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-24421509648845785382009-06-04T14:58:00.006-05:002009-06-16T18:59:03.561-05:00FWAH: Episode 6 Page 4*Theme Music*

The camera focuses on the pair as they sit comfortably on the park bench. They appear to be oblivious to their surroundings. Gilbert kisses the top of her head as it rests on his shoulder, “It was easy to get over him. I think I was more enamored with the idea of him than the man himself.”
“His loss. I should thank him for falling for the wrong woman.”
Suzi giggles and falls quiet, “Gilbert.”
“What is it, Honey?”
“I never told him.”
“Not even when he called?”
“How could I? He was so angry. He was so desperate. He’s losing the woman he loves, how could I tell him?”
“Are you going to tell him?”

Gilbert scoops her up and plants her on his lap, he looks at her, their eyes meet. “You should tell the man. Its his right to know.”
Suzi’s eyes search his face, “You’re not disappointed in me? For what I did?”
Gilbert smiles reassuringly, “No. Like you said, you were young. Do you ever think of him? Wonder where he is, what he’s doing?”
Suzi nods slowly, “Constantly. I console myself saying he’s better off without me.”
Gilbert kisses her nose softly, “No one is better off without you.”
Suzi moans softly, making Gilbert chuckle, “Again?”
Suzi blushes deeply and nods. Gilbert shakes his head, “Sorry, Honey. The sun is coming up. She smiles nervously at him, almost guiltily. Gilbert simply makes his to the stairs. “Have a good time on your date.”
Brandon eyes Suzi quietly, “Oh. Oh! Right, thanks.” Suzi blushes deeply. She removes her shoes at the front door under Brandon’s scrutiny. He hasn’t said a word, simply watching quietly as he broods.
Gilbert smirks as he says his farewells, “Right then. Good night.”
“Morning.” Brandon corrects him.
Gilbert simply shrugs and keeps walking.

Suzi moves to pass Brandon on her way to her bedroom. “I’ll um… be ready in a minute, Brandon.”
Brandon shakes his head, “Take your time. Why not take a nap. We can head out when you’re ready.” Brandon refuses to make eye contact in order to hide his disappointment. “Thanks Brandon. I’ll be ready in a few hours.”
Brandon nods slowly, “Night, Suzi.”
“Night, Brandon.”

Brandon stays in the hallway, rooted to the spot. Gilbert is paying the taxi, giving him instructions and slips out standing beside her. “You do like games… don’t you?”
She looks up at him and grins, “Well yes… its just not what I had expected.”
Gilbert laughs, “It’s more than you think. They’ve renovated it… there’s music, dancing, a bar and best of all… video games!”
Suzi laughs happily, “Sounds great.”

Gilbert caresses her cheek, “I enjoy making you happy. Your eyes light up. You’re like a drug… I can’t get enough of you..”
Suzi swoons, “So my mortal, if chosen, it will be your sworn duty to keep me happy. Are you up to the challenge?”
Gilbert laughs, “Yes my Goddess.” His face suddenly becomes serious, he appears to be struggling with what he wants to say, “Suzi…”
Breathlessly she responds, “Yes, Gilbert.”
“Suzi, I …” Gilbert takes a deep breath and takes her hand in order to escort her in the building, “Nothing… its nothing. Come along, Goddess. Its time this mortal schooled you in video games.”

Suzi stops him, pressing her body to his, standing on tip toes their lips meet.

“Well now, that was unexpected.” Gilbert chuckles.
Blushing deeply, Suzi’s voice wavers ever so slightly, “I don’t know what came over me… is it wrong to say that I’m not sorry?”
“Not at all… I’m not sorry either.” He reluctantly lets her go and watches her face with a smile, “Should we go in?”
Laughing Suzi nods, “We might as well. I have to teach a certain mortal that he is no match for this Goddess.”

Suzi stops in her tracks, gasps in surprise, refusing to move forward. “Suzi?”
Suzi spins to look at Gilbert, panic in her eyes, she shakes her head quickly moving away from the door and out of ear shot of the familiar shape at the door. “No.. no, no, no, not tonight…”
Gilbert searches her face for answers, “What is it? What’s wrong?”
Suzi shakes her head and struggles with her words, “Apparently tonight is the night…” The stress on her face worries him, he simply nods quietly letting her talk, clenching his teeth to keep from asking too many questions.

Suzi takes a deep breath, “The phone call, it was nothing really. Silly now that I think back about it.” Her words come tumbling out in a rush, “There was this man… a guy… I met him back in college. He was it for me, I was young, so naïve. I knew he didn’t love me. I knew it was more a relationship of convenience and lust. We were hot for each other and then…” Suzi stops, she looks at her hands that she had been wringing nervously before her.
Gilbert takes her hands in his, “You fell in love with that guy, even though you knew you weren’t ‘supposed’ to.”
Suzi nods slowly, “I was stunned when he called me, and…” She looks up at him with a grimace, “And he’s here.”

Pulling her in to his embrace, “He may be here, but so am I. You have nothing to worry about. I won’t let him near you. I won’t let him hurt you again.”
“Mind if we skip this place?”
“Not at all, there’s a park behind you… want to talk there?”
“That would be great. Thank you.”

They walk quietly for some time, finally Suzi breaks the silence, “He did love someone. It wasn’t me. We parted ways and I mended my broken heart. I had graduation to think about and the farm and…” She falls silent for a bit more. “‘She’ called me asking questions not too long ago.” She scoffs, “Demanding some answers is probably a more accurate description.” He takes her hand in his and gives it a little squeeze.
“There were others… other women I mean. I can’t speak for any of them. I just know what happened between Pao and me.” She shrugs her petite shoulders. “Gilbert?”
“Yes?”
“Thanks for listening to me ramble.”
He looks at her questioningly, takes her by the hand and they enter the maze of hedges. Through the maze they manage to slip the camera crew… for a time.

Gilbert’s voice sounds far away, he apparently had taken off his microphone as did Suzi. “I think we lost them… did you want to tell me the rest?”
Suzi looks at him incredulously, “How did you know?”
“You’re an open book, Suzi. Its your eyes… they don’t lie.”
Suzi looks at her feet and hesitates, “I don’t know. Only one sorority sister knows and we don’t talk about it.” She looks up suddenly as if she heard something. “Gilbert.”

Taking her by the hand they continue their walk through the maze keeping ahead of the camera crew. “You don’t have to tell me anything you don’t want to Suzi. It just looks as if you wanted to… that’s all.”
Suzi laughs, “You really can read me. Am I that transparent?”
“No, I’m just that good.” At this they both laugh and keep walking.

Gilbert looks around cautiously, “I think we’re safe… for now.”
Suzi looks at him and grins, “This is so silly, I’m actually having fun trying to ditch the camera crew!” Gilbert’s easy laugh eases her nerves and she turns to him. She tries to look at him yet not meeting his eyes. “I had…” Gilbert had put his finger over her lips. The sound of people talking as they walked past on the far side of the hedges can be heard.
“Sorry go ahead.”
“Kiss me.”

Gilbert moans deeply, his hands roam her body, she presses her body as close as she can to his, feeling his excitement is as heightened as hers, his voice raspy with his want and need, “Woman, you drive me crazy. It’s not enough. I always want more of you. I can’t stop thinking about you. Hell, I find myself dreaming about you.”
Suzi moans as his lips find her neck, his kisses hard and hungry, “Take me, Gilbert. I need you.”

The screen immediately cuts to commercial.Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-44408558528991375362009-06-03T18:58:00.006-05:002009-06-04T15:14:07.270-05:00FWAH: Episode 6 Page 2*Theme Music*

Back from commercial, we find Suzi standing alone at her front door apparently waiting for her date to join her. She breathes visibly, she appears to be trying to calm her nerves, which is evident when a car driving by suddenly honks its horn and she jumps in surprise. Closing her eyes momentarily, she begins the breathing once more. Footsteps can be heard behind her, she takes a deep breath and turns to see who is her first date.

Gilbert walks out of the front door, looking very handsome in his suit. He smiles sincerely at Suzi as she gasps softly and he chuckles, “Why thank you. You’re looking rather gorgeous yourself.”

Not to be outdone Suzi smiles sweetly at him, “Why Gilbert, who knew you cleaned up so well. There may be a gentleman under that rough exterior yet.”
Gilbert laughs good-naturedly, “What can I say? I need to at least appear some what worthy to accompany the Goddess to dinner.”

Taking this opportunity, he finally breaks down and asks, “So tell me Goddess, if you will… will you allow this peasant, this mere unworthy mortal the honor of accompanying you to dinner?”
Suzi blushes as she often does, smiles and nods, “Yes, mere mortal. I deem you worthy to accompany me to dinner.”
She bites her lip as her eyes take in his form. He steps closer, putting his arms around her, kissing her gently. He swallows hard as he pulls back, “It is a privilege, my Goddess.”

Standing before the restaurant, she pauses and gazes at him, “Really? Landoste?”
Gilbert looks hesitant and unsure for the first time that evening, “Yes… really… Landoste…” He looks towards the door and then back to Suzi, “Would you prefer elsewhere? Our reservations are for 8 pm. I can cancel them and we can go any where you want.”
Suzi shakes her head and puts a reassuring hand on his, “I love this place. They have a wonderful nectar tarte that I absolutely love.”
Gilbert smiles, “I know… its why I chose this place. I just didn’t realize you already knew… kind of takes the wind out of my surprise.”
Suzi grins apologetically, “Oops? Sorry!”

Seated at a romantic table for two, they glance at the menu briefly, “Do you like salmon? They make an excellent Terrine de Saumon aux Epinards - Riz Spécial”
Suzi’s eyes dance as his accent and pronunciation flow so easily for him, she tests him playfully, “Le saumon est divin, seulement je préfère Emincé de Volaille sauce Roquefort - Pommes de terre sautées.” (The salmon is divine, only I prefer Emincé de Volaille sauce Roquefort - Pommes de terre sautées.)
Gilbert chuckles, “Oh mais évidemment, ma Déesse. N'importe quoi pour vous.” (Oh but of course, my Goddess. Anything for you.)
“Well now, you are full of surprises!”
Gilbert shrugs noncommittally, “Perhaps…”

Gilbert reaches across the table, taking Suzi’s hand in his. “Are you really okay? We’ve put you through so much. Yet here you are, gorgeous, at ease, with me…” He chuckles and shakes his head, “I didn’t think I’d make it this far.”
Suzi looks at him in surprise. “You’ve always been so confident… almost cocky about being ‘the one’. That was a ruse? Really?”
Gilbert squeezes her hand gently, “Not completely. I knew we clicked. There is just something about you. I cant put my finger on it.” He gives her his patent grin, “I just knew you felt it too. I could see it in your eyes. I can get lost in those eyes.”
The couple are interrupted by the waiter, Gilbert orders for the both of them including some champagne.

Drinks in hand, Gilbert proposes a toast, “A toast to my lovely Goddess. May you find happiness, with me or that other guy… whats his name…” He gives her a wink, “Really, I do wish you happiness. While I wont lie, I hope it is with me… if you choose Brandon, I hope he can make you happy. You’re a wonderful woman. You’re kind. You’re caring. You’re gorgeous… inside and out…” He pauses once more and looks at her, he smiles and raises his glass to her.

“To you Suzi, may you find your happiness.”
Suzi blushes sweetly and raises her glass, “To happiness… for us both. Whatever it may be.”

They sip their champagne quietly both reflecting on their toasts and what the future could hold for either of them. He winks at her and she giggles, feeling the bubbles tickle her nose. “Its delicious. You have good taste in champagne.”
Gilbert shrugs, “When you’re celebrating, only the best will do.”
“Is that what we’re doing? Celebrating?”
“Naturally.”
“What are we celebrating?”
Gilbert chuckles and raises his glass to her once more, “Beginnings.”

Their dinner had arrived, the two spent the whole time talking about everything and nothing, from poetry to video games, from rock and roll to jazz, from ballet to sports, much to Suzi’s delight.

“Your turn…”
She looks at him slyly, he catches the look and chuckles, “Okay.”
“James said something that had struck me as odd. I didn’t quite get it at the time. Days later, I met Kaylynn. I ‘think’ I get the connection between the two. Only I didn’t get a straight answer from any one.”
Gilbert’s eyes dance with humor, “I see. So what is your question?”
“James hesitated when I thanked him… I had thought you guys had cleaned the house for me. Only from his reaction, I wasn’t sure what was going on. Then I met Kaylynn after the kitchen fire. She was very familiar with the layout of my house as well as where everything was and where things went. I thought it incredible at first. Then remembered James.” She watches his face as he grins, “You guys hired her to clean my house…”
Gilbert laughs, “That is not a question, that is a statement... and yes. It was the day you got that ‘call’, you were so distracted, the last thing you needed was to deal with housework or any of us. So I called an agency.”
“You did that? For me?”

“Why do you sound so surprised? We didn’t have time to clean the house. We had the competition to deal with. You had your mind else where. I figured it was the most logical step to take.”
“You never told me…”
Gilbert shrugs sheepishly, “I knew you’d figure it out sooner or later…”
Suzi sits quietly and smiles at him. “Thanks.”

“Your turn.”
Suzi takes a bite of her desert, “Okay.”
“What was the phone call about?”
“Next question.”
“Wait, no fair. You told me one day you’d tell me what that was all about.”
Suzi shakes her head, “Today is not that day.”
Gilbert searches her eyes and nods slowly, “I see.”

Dinner comes to an end, the bill is paid, the two walked hand in hand out of the restaurant. Stopping at the curb, she suddenly turns, pressing her body to his, she kisses him. His arms wrap around her waist, their foreheads touching, as he looks in her eyes as if memorizing everything about her. “Thank you… I’ve had a lovely evening.”
Gilbert smiles his easy familiar smile, “I’m glad you enjoyed dinner… only the night isn’t quite over yet.”
Suzi’s eyes dance with anticipation, she opens the door and slides over so Gilbert can sit beside her.

The screen fades to a commercial as the taxi drives away.Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-31230653153026457762009-06-03T15:38:00.003-05:002009-06-04T15:14:28.882-05:00Episode 6: Final Elimination*Theme Music*

The music softens, playing in the background. The camera focuses on the painting. Slowly and purposefully Lynn steps on screen. She smiles at her unseen audience as the music continues. She takes a deep breath and lets it out in a huff, blowing her bangs from her eyes in an exasperated fashion. “Well now. In the beginning I thought I envied Suzi and the attention she would have from these sexy men… now seeing what she has endured, I am pleased as punch to remain on this side of the competition.”
Lynn pauses here as if in contemplation, “Two men. Two very intense, strong men remain. Our fair farmer will venture forth on a date with each of these men. Thankfully one at a time… who will she go out with first? Will it be an advantage or disadvantage to going first? Will it matter what order they go on their dates? To make it as fair as possible, the order of dates was decided by the flip of a coin.” Lynn’s eyes dance with mischief, “You’ll have to wait and see how the dates progress. So many questions remain unanswered, so much mystery and intrigue, who would have thought a reality show would give us all of this drama?”
Lynn steps closer towards the middle of the screen and faces her unseen audience, “Its time to join the farmhouse. Let’s hope our farmer asks the right questions, it would be nice to finally have some answers.” She frowns in thought, “Will the competitors sabotage each other’s dates? Will Suzi choose either of them if they do? Our farmer appears to be at her wits end… perhaps its good this competition is winding down.”

The audience find themselves in dining area. Not a word is spoken. The only sound is the hum of the fish tank, the hum of the refrigerator and the occasional car that passes the house. Occasionally one of the men will appear to begin speaking only to remain quiet and eat their breakfast. Tension builds.

Gilbert steals a glance at Suzi, catching a glimpse of her before she can lower her head. His eyebrow rises in a silent question. The question goes unasked, unanswered, Suzi lowers her head and pushes her pancakes around her plate.

Breaking the silence at last, Gilbert addresses Brandon, “Listen. You kissed Suzi, I kissed Suzi. It’s just you and me left in this competition and I think we need to call some kind of truce. I don’t like the way this is affecting Suzi, its stressing her out. Have you looked at her this morning?”
Suzi groans softly, her fork drops on her plate. She stares out the window not seeing what is before her. Brandon and Gilbert sit quietly watching. “Stop staring at me, I'm fine.” Suzi pushes her chair back and leaves the table. She sets her plate in the kitchen and makes her way towards her bedroom.

The guys wait until her door closes, “Seriously. A truce would be good.”
Brandon looks at him contemplating, “Ya. Okay.” His brow furrows momentarily as he stares at his pancakes. “I don’t think I can eat.”
Gilbert shakes his head, “You and I both know you need to. Your hangover is just going to get worse if you don’t.”
Brandon’s eyes narrow, his grip on his fork tightens and his jaw sets squarely.

The tension is so thick you could feel it in the air, wordlessly the three worked in the garden. The men occasionally glance at Suzi while she wasn’t looking. “I’m not made of porcelain, I’m not going to break. I’m fine… you can both stop worrying about me.” Suzi pulls another weed from her precious crop with a grunt tossing the weeds on to an ever growing pile.

Gilbert glances her way once more, “You’re right… of course… only you’re stressed beyond belief. It isn’t as if we’re helping matters, but I know its not just us.” He gives her a knowing look and she blushes before turning away.
“Okay, fair enough. Still, I’m a grown woman. I can take care of myself.” Suzi counters.
Brandon stretches his back as he stands. “Yes, you can. In the meantime, Gilbert and I have decided to call a truce of sorts. Basically, we wont be the cause of any added stress to you.” He shrugs his broad shoulders, “It’s the very least we can do.”
Gilbert shoots a questioning look towards Brandon before glancing up at Suzi, “We’ll finish up out here. You’ve got a date to get ready for.”

Suzi pauses and bites her lip, “The card only said to dress for a lovely dinner… it didn’t say who I’m going to dinner with…”
Both guys chuckle and remain quiet. “Aw come on… no hint?” She looks from one to the other, “Well fine. Whoever it is… thank you for the rose.” She looks once more from one to the other, the guys keep grining as she throws her hands up in defeat. “Fine. Keep up the work, my minion mortals. I’ll be off getting ready for this mystery dinner.”
Both men laugh with her and watch her walk away.

They both work quietly for a bit longer, “So… a truce huh…”
Gilbert looks over at Brandon. Brandon keeps pulling weeds. “In the spirit of competition, and the sanity of Suzi, maybe we really should call a truce of sorts.”

The weeds pulled, the garden tended, the men square off. Staring each other down wordlessly, the dislike and distrust apparent, Brandon’s eyes narrowing, his arms crossed in an apparent defensive stance. Gilbert simply stands and watches him carefully, gauging his reactions and movements. “The next few days will be interesting…”

The screen fades slowly, the men still stare each other down as we are ushered to a commercial break.Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-77797988697252003892009-06-02T12:48:00.006-05:002009-06-05T16:37:58.165-05:00FWAH: Episode 5 Page 6*Theme Music*

The view comes in to focus, prior to the commercial break they audience was left with the familiar view of the front door signifying the end of events and the anticipation of the exiting contestant. Instead of returning to the front door, we see the lovely host. Lynn’s sultry voice can be heard as the theme music fades, “Well now. Things have become quite interesting indeed for our farmer.”
Her voice is smooth and excited, luring in the audience and hyping them to find out the results of the evening. “Three men remain, Gilbert, Danny and Brandon…” She looks at the unseen audience, her eyes dancing, “Three men vying for her attention and favor. Last time Gilbert made a bit of a scene, tonight it is Danny… all due to Brandon and his tactics. Will they be enough to thwart the others? Will Suzi see through him? Or is he possibly sincere and truly loves our farmer?”
The more she talks, the more animated she becomes our host contemplates the possibilities for our viewers, “And what is Brandon up to? What was Gilbert looking for? Will we ever know? Did he find what he was searching for? When we meet the failed competitor tonight, will we get answers?”

The camera comes to focus on the front door once more. The answers the audience seeks are some where behind those doors. Footsteps can be heard as someone approaches.

The door opens to reveal a calmer Danny as he heads out of the building and back to the studio for his exit interview. The house is quiet behind him. Without a glance back he passes the camera crew on his way.

Lynn’s soft voice can be heard off screen, “Greetings Danny. Are you calmer now?”
Quietly Danny contemplates his feelings, “Ya, I guess.”
“That was a rather intense confrontation out there… care to elaborate and let the viewers in on what is going on?”
“Well, how can I put this delicately…” Danny scratches his chin. “No. No, I don’t.”
Lynn pauses before continuing, “You realize you’re coming across as unstable. I’m sure there are extenuating circumstances. You’ve always been the calm one, the humorous one…”

Danny scoffs, “Oh just say it, the joke. That’s what you mean isn’t it? Danny doesn’t stand a chance against Gilbert or Brandon. I’m sure that is what all of the viewers are thinking.”
Lynn is taken aback, “Not at all. I would never say such a thing, nor did I ever think it. You had as much a chance of winning as any man there. Yet many questions remain unanswered, such as what is it that Gilbert was looking for and what was it that set you off?”
Danny grins his boyish grin, his eyes sparkling with mischief once more, “You want answers? You’ll have to wait until Gilbert gives them to you.”

The audience finds themselves back in the farmhouse. An unexpected sight of Gilbert and Suzi speaking calmly and quietly after such and abrupt and rude ending to the evening’s events. “You’re sure you’re okay?”
Suzi nods quietly, “I don’t think I’ll ever understand men.”
Gilbert chuckles, “Welcome to our world, men hardly understand women. Even though some of us may ‘think’ we do.” He takes a deep breath, “I’m sorry… for being a jerk… for being distant and quiet. I should have been there for you tonight. I failed you.”
Suzi shakes her head, “Its okay. It was fun, for a while anyhow.” She looks up at him, searching his eyes, “What happened? I still don’t understand.”
Gilbert chuckles and puts his strong arms around her, pulling her close, their lips meeting for a small kiss that immediately becomes so much more.

“Dammit woman!” Brandon appears seemingly from no where. Shocked Suzi stares at him blankly still recuperating from the passionate kisses she has received tonight. “How could you betray me like this? How?” Brandon’s hands ball up in to fists displaying his anger, getting Gilbert’s attention immediately.
“Careful, Brandon.” Gilbert’s deep voice booms in the hallway.
Suzi’s voice small and wavering in comparison speaks up, “Gilbert, please… can we have a moment.”
Gilbert takes a step forward, placing his left hand on her left hip, leans in giving her a small kiss on her cheek and whispers in her ear before walking away.

Suzi takes a moment before speaking, her eyes sad and shining with unshed tears, “Brandon, tonight has been very confusing for me. This whole situation with Gilbert, then Danny and now you… unless you want to walk out that door and not come back, you’ll go upstairs and call it a day. I’ve had enough for tonight.”

The screen fades, the theme music plays and the credits begin rolling:

Day 5
Brandon Zackery - 4 skills, 2LB, crush, BF, love 183+20+10+20+20+50=303
Danny Williams - 4 skills, 2LB crush 23+20+10+20=73
Gilbert Portis - 4 skills, 3LB, crush 148+20+10+30=208

Main FWAH Page

Back to Over There

Next Episode

Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-70508619733803198492009-06-02T12:08:00.004-05:002009-06-02T13:37:03.093-05:00FWAH: Episode 5 Page 5*Theme Music*

Theme music fades, the camera shows they have returned to the farmhouse. Gilbert is seen in the background throwing away some trash. He glances over at them and nods. Suzie returns his nod with a smile.
“Suzi?” Brandon starts and pauses. He turns to her, taking her hand in his. He holds it in his grasp firmly as he looks at it. Confused she turns to him, searching his face for an answer. Utterly taken by surprise, Suzi flinches while a smug Brandon waves good-bye to the competition.
Stunned Suzi tries desperately to make sense of what just happened. “Danny? I… I’m sorry! Glancing over his shoulder he listens to their approach, he says nothing to Brandon when he intentionally shoulders past him to the waiting taxi. It’s a game… lighten up or you’re gonna have an aneurism.”

The longer they play the more intense Brandon becomes, the more relaxed Gilbert becomes and the happier Danny becomes. “Man, I’m digging this game.”
Gilbert grins and starts a new game. Brandon can be heard scoffing in the back. All eyes move towards the green house as a cell phone suddenly rings.

The camera pans towards Suzi who seems to be enjoying her conversation for a change, “How have you been?” She listens to the voice on the other end of the phone and laughs, her laughter dancing in the stillness around her. Other than a few well placed ‘mhms’, ‘ohs’ and ‘rights’ the conversation appears to be rather one sided. Her eyes widen considerably and she begins pacing, her voice lowers as she stumbles for a response.

“Seriously, now isn’t a good time.” She sighs softly and tries again, “Well, it could be because we’re still in the middle of taping the show and all of Simerica can hear me… other than that I can’t imagine why I wouldn’t want to discuss my personal life right at this exact moment.”
She stops her pacing and looks at the phone for a minute and puts it back to her ear. “You’re joking right?” She shakes her head as she listens, then bursts out in laughter. “Leave it to you to twist things to your favor. Fine, but if this backfires I blame you!” She listens briefly and takes a deep breath.
She glances at the camera crew and turns her back on them in order to talk more privately or at least to give her a feeling of privacy. “I can’t do it.” She shakes her head listening, “I know he deserves it, but I just can’t… it feels too childish. I’ll call you when all this is over.” She throws a glance towards the chess tables, “We’ll do dinner or something… no, I won’t let you cook. Some things don’t change regardless of what you claim.” She listens for a bit more, her face relaxed, her tension gone once more, “Give him a hug for me and congrats… lets hope the baby looks like him.”

The guys had been quietly eavesdropping on the one sided conversation as much as possible. They each start playing more rapidly as they realize her conversation is over. The back door closes, Brandon looks through the window watching her, “Interesting…”
Danny shrugs, “Dude if she doesn’t want to talk about it… you can’t make her.”
Brandon harrumphs ignoring the other two, the only sound from Gilbert is the sound of his chess pieces being manipulated across the board.

Suzi’s voice can be heard from inside the house as she calls to them through an open window, “Hey guys, the studio sent over some pizza… I suppose they’re still trying to make up for the fire.”
The guys clean up their individual tables and get up to stretch their legs and eat.
“I can’t feel my legs, how am I supposed to go dancing if I can’t feel my legs?”
Gilbert shrugs, “Don’t go… I’m not.”

Danny stares at Gilbert’s retreating back as if he couldn’t believe what he just heard. “You’re ‘not’ going?” He reaches out and grabs hold of his shoulder to stop him from walking away. “Dude, that is a serious mistake. You should so go. I mean, its part of the competition… you don’t go… you don’t get to spend time with Suzi…”
Brandon grins triumphantly, “That’s okay… don’t go… we don’t need you to have a good time.”
Danny shakes his head and lets go of his shoulder. Gilbert gives him a half smile, “Just take care of her… okay?” They both look as the smug Brandon walks in to the house, “And watch him…”

The screen fades to black as the theme music is heard fading to commercial.Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-77256880064649888132009-05-29T10:00:00.005-05:002009-06-02T13:38:42.316-05:00Episode 5: Final Three*Theme Music*

The music fades as it tends to do, Lynn looks contemplatively at the unseen audience. She appears uneasy, as if unsure what to say or do. “Last episode was rather… interesting.” She looks down at her hands as she folds them neatly before her, “Our competitors in public for the first time was a near fiasco, although I admit it is good for ratings… not necessarily so great for our dear farmer.” Her slender shoulders shrug slightly as her mood visibly lightens, her bright smile once more adorning her face, any apprehension she may have felt clearly gone.
“Our last three remaining competitors will work up their skills and logic, our farmer will be preparing herself for another outing with the men… this time for a bit of fun on the dance floor. Our very own local ‘dance’ spot, while utterly unacceptable for this competition, has gracefully suggested another venue for us. I’m sure our men will be disappointed to hear they will not be dancing at the Randy Lady tonight.” Lynn’s eyes dance with humor as she laughs with the audience. “Oh I do apologize to those unfamiliar with our small town, we have but one ‘dance club’… or more accurately, a gentlemen’s club, if you will.” She leans a bit towards the camera as if to ‘whisper’ to the audience, “On the other hand, watching the contestants strip for our farmer would be much more entertaining!”
“The competition is wrapping up, only two more competitions and we’ll have a winner. I’ve enjoyed sharing this experience with you, our devoted audience and hope the next season will be just as entertaining. I’m Lynn Genet this season’s host to Farmer Wants… and it is time to join them down on the farm.”

The audience finds themselves once more in the farmhouse kitchen, this time following Brandon as he makes his way towards the refrigerator oblivious to the camera following him as he mutters to himself.
“Eggs, eggs, eggs… man that sounds nasty today… pancakes… ya that works, I don’t think I can stand the smell of eggs right now.”
He opens the refrigerator, pulls out eggs, milk and butter placing them on the counter. He reaches under the counter to the cabinet below and pulls out a bowl.

The camera pulls back to show our farmer sitting patiently at the table waiting for breakfast as the others come to join her.
“Good morning, Gorgeous!” Danny beams at her as he pulls a chair out for himself. His eyes narrow a bit as he glances behind him at Brandon in the kitchen, “Is it smart to let the man make breakfast for us?”
Suzi giggles at him and smiles at them both, “Good morning to you, handsome mortal. He insisted he could do this. I didn’t have the heart to tell him no.” She looks at the silent Gilbert, concern written clearly on her face, “Good morning, Gilbert.”
He gives her his lopsided grin, “Good morning.”
They all look up with concern towards the kitchen as soft swearing can be heard in the background. “Maybe I should help him…” Suzi excuses herself and walks towards the kitchen just as her phone rings.

Danny glances at Gilbert, “What are you waiting for?” Gilbert stares at him blankly, “Dude, have you told her about the maid?” He watches his face for a reaction, noting the lack of response he continues, “Look, I dig this chick. She’s a sweetheart… and if I had an ace up my sleeve like you do, I’d totally play it.” He shrugs lightly, “but hey, don’t tell her… it’s better for me and Brandon if you don’t.”
Gilbert sits quietly, his face not slipping from its mask of indifference simply shrugs noncommittally. Suzi’s voice can be heard softly speaking on the phone to what one can only guess to be a solicitor from what can be heard on her half of the conversation. More cursing can be heard behind them in the kitchen as the level escalates to near hysteria.

“Crap! Oh crap, Oh crap, Oh crap! Suzi! Where did you say that fire extinguisher is?” Brandon backs away from the stove fire, frantically looking around for the fire extinguisher. The kitchen quickly fills with the horrid stench of smoke and burned food, his eyes burn and he begins coughing.

His hands in his hair as he pulls at it in panic, his voice still near hysterics, “Oh crap what did I do?” He mutters to himself again and again.
From seemingly out of nowhere, Suzi is at his side, fire extinguisher in hand, she calmly takes over and works to extinguish the flames. “Brandon, back up. I need room to work…. Brandon! Snap out of it!”
Gilbert’s voice can be heard off screen calmly speaking to the authorities, an audible beep can be heard as he gives the address to the farmhouse. Danny’s heavy footsteps can be heard running towards the door, “I’ll look for the fire truck!”

Once more Suzi’s voice cuts through the commotion, “Brandon! Snap out of it and move back.” An audible ‘fwoosh’ can be heard as the flames engulf the range fully. “Gilbert!”
Danny can be heard returning only to be stopped at the front door by a fireman. “Sir, I’m going to have to ask you to wait outside.”
Gilbert is instantly by her side, ready to take over the fire extinguisher. She hands it off to him, “I have to cut the gas before the house blows, that’s a gas range!”
Gilbert simply nods, his full concentration on containing the flames, “Go! Suzi, don’t come back in the house… stay outside. Brandon… Brandon! Gods you’re useless.”
Suzi’s considerably lighter footsteps than Danny’s can be heard running off towards a door. Gilbert and the fireman work diligently to contain the fire.

Brandon’s hysteria can be heard as the crackling of the fire appears to be more under control than earlier.
Grudgingly Danny stays outside to be joined by Suzi. He slips a comforting arm around her and gives her a squeeze. “Don’t worry. It’s under control.”
Suzi blinks rapidly and stares up at Danny her eyes searching his. She looks towards the door as Gilbert comes jogging out with a very upset Brandon over the shoulder of a fireman.
Gilbert smirks as the fireman plants Brandon on the grass. “The fire appears to be out. We’re checking for damage and any hot spots, we’ll let you know as soon as it is safe to reenter the building… I take it this was a cooking fire?”
Gilbert looks at the frazzled Suzi and nods at the fireman, “Yes, sir. I believe those are pancakes you’ll find some where fried to the range.”
The fireman nods and goes back in to the house. As the screen fades it focuses one last time on Brandon as he sits on the grass, an oxygen mask held over his mouth by an EMT.

The camera is focused in the backyard, peering through the greenhouse walls Suzi can be seen pulling weeds and tending the crops. The quiet fills the air, the tension is tangible, the stress clearly evident as she rips the weeds forcibly from the ground.

The guys walk solemnly towards the greenhouse in order to assist Suzi, no words are spoken between the men. They just file out one by one on their way to do the morning chores.

Brandon stops momentarily at the door and stares at Suzi. Sheepishly he slips in and begins working. Danny clears his throat, giving Brandon a ‘look’ and nodding towards Suzi. Brandon shakes his head miserably and continues working.

Danny gives Brandon a look of disappointment and disgust. He walks to Suzi and gives her a hug. His strong arms around her he looks in to her eyes. “How are you holding up?” She gives him a weary smile, “I’m okay… really… you can stop worrying. Besides, the studio is going to give me a new range and fix any damage. Heck I may get a new kitchen out of this.”
Danny chuckles and kisses her forehead. “If you need someone to talk to, you know I’m here for you.”
She wraps her arms around his waist and gives him a hug. “Thanks Danny.”

The screen fades to black as the theme music is heard fading to commercial.Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-49704369753225598312009-05-21T16:24:00.007-05:002009-06-05T16:37:36.616-05:00FWAH: Episode 4 Page 6*Theme Music*

The view comes in to focus as we watch the front door, the anticipation of the leaving contestant rises, footsteps are head approaching the door. The handle turns and it is pushed open.

James steps out of the door hesitantly at first, he looks behind him, shakes his head and heads towards the stairs and the waiting car.

He walks down the stairs, his head down, not meeting the view of the camera. The only sound is the sounds of his shoes and a quick clearing of his throat as he passes the camera.

Lynn’s sultry voice can be heard off screen, “It’s a pleasure to see you again, James.”
James grunts and raises an eyebrow, “Forgive my sarcasm and cruelty, but it isn’t nice to see you again.”
“Well that is understandable. To see me again requires you to be removed from the house.”
James nods in agreement, “Exactly. Though I have to say I thought I’d be seeing you sooner.” You can see him relax a bit, accepting his removal from the home.

“Sooner? Why is that?”
James gives a lopsided grin, “Well when I ended up with zero fish, I’m sure most of the audience was surprised to see me still around. I mean, heck I was pretty surprised too. Grateful, just surprised.”
“Yes you have had a rough time of this competition.”
James chuckles, “You have no idea.”

“Mind elaborating?”
James runs a hand over his hair and contemplates his words, “Well…” he takes a deep breath while absent mindedly scratching his arm, “You see… before coming here, I was… am… a repo man.” He pauses for a reaction, getting none he feels confident in continuing, “Now keep in mind, not all repo men are ruthless, while I admit I did have to reposes some things I’m not too proud of, it was just a job. Always just a job for me.”
“I’m afraid I’m not seeing the connection…”
James looks at her, eyes wide, “These guys are ruthless! Cutthroat, backstabbing, out for the kill.” He shakes his head, “I think I’m too mellow for my line of work and for this competition.”

The house is unusually quiet. The bed creaks softly, the sound of a toilet some where flushes, Danny rolls over and stares out the window in to the dark night.

Gilbert sighs as he pulls the covers back. He sits on the bed for a while thinking. He stares at his bare feet in contemplation. A toilet flushes some where on the other side of his door, and he shakes himself from his thoughts. Climbing in to bed, he pulls the blankets around him, turning his back to the camera.

Suzi sits at her vanity staring at her hands neatly folded before her. She had scrubbed her face clean of the lipstick and make up, put her hair back up in its usual bun. Back to her comfortable self she takes a moment to reflect over the evening. No sound is heard until yet another flush of a toilet upstairs, she wipes a stray tear with the back of her hand.

Quietly Suzi slips in to her soft bed, pulling the blankets up over her shoulders. Fussing until he’s comfortable he takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly.
Danny lifts himself on to one elbow and looks at Brandon, “I hear it helps to put one foot on the ground.”
Brandon sighs, “I’m fine.”
Danny shakes his head and gets comfortable once more.

The screen fades, the theme music plays and the credits begin rolling:

Day 4
Brandon Zackery - 4 skills, 2LB, crush, BF 158+20+10+20+20=228
Danny Williams - 4 skills, 2LB crush,BF 154+20+10+20+20=224
Gilbert Portis - 4 skills, 3LB, crush 152+20+10+30=212
James Zamora - 4 skills, 2LB, crush 139+20+10+20=189

Main FWAH Page

Back to Over There

Next Episode

Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-73123856258716960272009-05-20T17:39:00.006-05:002009-05-22T14:11:35.384-05:00FWAH: Episode 4 Page 5*Theme Music*

Coming from the commercial break the audience finds they’re still at the restaurant. Brandon is on one knee before the lovely farmer, who appears to be stunned. Neither of them seems to notice the negative affect this behavior is having on one of the other contestants. The sound of Brandon’s voice is heard over the restaurant patrons as he loudly professes his love and devotion to Suzi.
Gilbert’s hands are in a fist as he holds them to his side, his teeth clenched as his anger boils within him. His eyes flash towards Danny as he announces the taxi has arrived. Clenching and unclenching his fists, Danny and Gilbert face off silently. His brow furrows, he sighs and turns to walk away. Danny exhales in relief.

Brandon fumbles his attempt to stand, staggering forward a bit taking Suzi by surprise. Regaining his composure, Brandon grins sheepishly.
Suzi hesitates wondering what prompted this display, all the right words, but did she feel the same way? “Thank you for sharing that with me, that was very sweet.”
Gilbert grunts his disapproval as he walks down the steps.
“It was my pleasure… I have to warn you though. I plan to win. I will spend the rest of my days… days… weeks… no, no, years proving this to you,” Brandon bows deeply as Suzi giggles.
Danny watches as things unfold, hesitantly he places a hand on her elbow, “Lady Siren, it is time to depart.”
Suzi rewards him with one of her brilliant smiles, “Thank you, Danny.”

Danny quickly makes his way to Brandon’s side, his voice low, his tone urgent, “Dude, watch yourself. Keep clear of Gilbert tonight, let him cool off… seriously.”
Brandon looks at him confused, “Why?”
“Something just snapped in him, you weren’t paying much attention but if you could have seen the look on his face…”
Brandon pauses to look at Danny, “I’m not afraid of him.”

Brandon pauses at the top of the stairs and watches quietly the retreating back of Gilbert. Brandon’s eyes narrow momentarily as he tries to ‘read’ Gilbert by his movements, shoulders rigid, looking straight ahead stiffly. He snorts, a cocky smile placed on his lips, he raises his head as if in triumph and makes his way to the waiting taxi.

Suzi walks a bit slower, her mind racing, her stomach in knots, something wasn’t right and her steps stagger slightly. One hand on her tummy she looks at the van with uncertainty.
James straggles behind the others, enjoying the sudden popularity. He grins at some, waves at the kids, thanks the staff as he makes his way to the taxi.

Standing at the taxi, she notes a pained, no angered, maybe stressed… she isn’t sure what is going on with Gilbert. She reaches a hand out as Brandon miscalculates the curb and bumps in to the back of the taxi. “Oh!”
Brandon waves her off. “No harm. I’m fine. I’m fine.”
“Brandon?”
James opens the front passenger door and holds it open for Suzi. Gratefully she slides in to her seat and folds her dress in so he can close the door. She leans her head back on the headrest and closes her eyes, listening to the quiet hum of the engine.

Once more the audience finds itself back at the familiar farmhouse. Standing in the darkness Gilbert waves them off. “We’ll be in shortly. I just need to have a talk with Brandon.”
Danny hesitates before walking slowly towards the front door. “You sure?”
“Ya, I’m fine!” Brandon waves him off and Gilbert gives him a reassuring nod.
James stands at the front door, handle in hand unsure of the situation. He follows Suzi and Danny in to the house closing the door behind him.

Brandon starts in immediately, “Listen. You’re just sore you didn’t think about it first. Come on. Admit it. She’s crazy about me and you hate it. You don’t like the competition.”
Gilbert shakes his head slowly while Brandon speaks, allowing Brandon the time to say his piece. “Don’t you shake your head at me. I know. Mr. Control Freak. You don’t like losing. Well you’re gonna!”
Gilbert’s hands are clenching and unclenching as he holds on to his anger. “Brandon, you’re so messed up.”
Brandon blinks, “Am not.” His voice rising an octave.

Gilbert moves quickly as if to attack, Brandon instinctively flinches. Gilbert relaxes and stares at him. “How much?”
Brandon shakes his head, “I don’t know what you’re talking about?”
Gilbert’s patience is wearing thin, his jaw clenching visibly, “How much did you drink?”
Brandon staggers back a step at this and shakes his head, “No, no… no, no… I don’t drink.”
Gilbert shakes his head, “Brandon, you’re wasted. The group at the table still has their stalker. Paying him no attention they continue their evening.
Suzi looks at Brandon with concern, “Are you sure you’re okay? All those trips to the bathroom… I’m really starting to worry about you.”
Brandon shrugs, “Nah, I'm good.”
Gilbert eyes him quietly still saying nothing.
James leans forward earnestly, “Think he will get tired before we leave?”
Suzi steals a glance at the stalker, “If I were a betting person, I’d have to bet no.” She stifles a yawn, “Oh… sorry.”
James brings his first down on the table. “This has gone on long enough. This is getting ridiculous.”
Gilbert hits James’ arm playfully, “No need for dramatics, we can handle this. On second thought, dramatics may be just what we need. Follow my lead.” Gilbert smiles across the table at Suzi and winks.

The waitress approaches the man, “Sir, I’ve asked you to please step away from the table. I’d rather not have to get management involved.” She smiles softly, “you appear to be a reasonable sort of guy…”
He looks around almost stunned, “Me? I’m not bothering anyone…”
The waitress pauses, “Actually, Sir, these particular patrons have been more than polite in allowing you to stand and hover… its beginning to annoy others.”
He looks around at other patrons, his nose flaring, his eyes closing in to a hard squint, “Who? Show me.”
“Miss, we’re ready for our bill please.” Brandon catches her eye and gives her a huge grin.
Hesitantly she nods, her voice waivers with uncertainty, “Erm, yes Sir, right away.”

As the farmer and her entourage prepare to leave, he quickly steps up to Suzi, invading her personal space. Her soft eyes grow large with surprise and a touch of fear at being approached so abruptly. “Oh!”
Gilbert chuckles, “Hold on Casanova… not so fast. You see the lady is not alone. You really don’t want to take all of us on, now do you?”
The stalker fan is momentarily stunned and looks from Suzi to the men and back again, his mouth opens to speak and then closes again. He repeats this a few times with uncertainty.
Brandon snorts, “He looks like a fish.”

Danny had been approaching the table, taking in the situation, he winks at Suzi. “This is the trouble with gorgeous women… you can’t take them any where.”
Suzi smiles at Danny as he smoothly diverts the tension that was building. “Yes, it’s the same with gorgeous men and I’ve had to contend with four of them. I do feel your pain.”

Gilbert manages to position himself between the man and Suzi, “Come now, you can’t blame us for all the men in the restaurant staring at our table. You have four men fawning over you. They’re bound to be curious what sort of magic hold a siren such as you holds over us mere mortals.”
Suzi bites her lip to keep from giggling, noting his smooth move as the stalker steps back instantly. He looks utterly confused by the odd behavior and looks from Suzi to the two men that arrange themselves around her in a protective cocoon of sorts.

Danny smoothly diverts her attention to him once more, taking her hand in his and guiding her closer to him. Still grinning they continue, “Lady Siren, how can we mere mortals ever hope to survive in your midst. How can we live up to your level of grace and beauty?” He kisses the back of her hand, slowly kissing up her arm and playfully biting her shoulder.
In spite of the playful words, the feel of his lips on her skin leaves her tingling, her heart races as he bites her shoulder softly and she fights to keep her composure.
His lips on her neck as his voice, just over a whisper for her ears only, “You’re irresistible.”
Responding breathlessly, “Mortal, I do believe you are over stepping your boundaries. You must worship me… endlessly…” she grins mischievously, “and on your knees!”
They laugh together easily and he bows gracefully before her.
Gilbert turns his attention to the stalker, “Seriously. We’re leaving. I suggest you try the salmon, it’s quite good.”
Still stunned he finally finds his voice, “I… I just wanted an autograph.”
“Is that all?” Gilbert laughs, “What’s your name?”
The man stands visibly taller, “My name is Brian… my friends call me BJ.”
Gilbert shakes his hand, “Pleasure BJ, I’m Gilbert. I’ll tell you what I’m going to do just for you. You leave your name and address with the Host here. I’ll make sure the studio sends you an autographed photo of her in the mail.”
Visibly pleased with the turn of events, BJ heads to the host.

Suzi smirks at Gilbert placing a hand firmly on her hip, “Oh really… and what makes you think I will pose for a photo for the studio?”
Gilbert smirks back, “Simple. You’ve already posed for them, all the promos, all of the billboards… I’m sure they have a few dozen to choose from.”
Suzi throws her head back with a laugh, “The man has an answer for everything. Is there anything you can’t solve?”
Gilbert gets a mischievous grin and a twinkle in his eye that causes a deep blush to creep over her. She finds herself swooning over his confidence and gets a bit annoyed with herself.

“Listen whatever it is you’re thinking… don’t.”
Brandon looks a bit stunned and shrugs feigning ignorance, his words rushed, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
James grins knowingly, “I saw that look. Listen we know Gilbert and his ways. He plays by his own rules. Whatever you’re planning to put yourself ahead of him will need to be big… hell, huge. Only I don’t know if I like the look in your eyes right now. Make sure you have a level head when you attempt what it is you think you’re going to attempt.”
Brandon’s brow furrows as he contemplates James’ words. “I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks.”

Brandon grins at Suzi and gently squeezes her shoulder, “Our ride is almost here. You’re really something Suzi. You handled that situation better than I did. I’m impressed.”
She giggles at his compliment, “Thanks, Brandon… but it wasn’t as if I was alone in that, Danny and Gilbert had more to do with it than I did. I just simply followed their lead, just as Gilbert suggested.”
Brandon’s look tensed slightly at the praise she had given Gilbert, but let his face smooth back to a smile instantly. “Right. Of course.”

“Mommy, look! Look, Mommy, they’re from TV!”
“Shhh, not so loud and don’t stare… oh for Gods’ sake don’t point and gawk either!”
Suzi looks over the rail at a little girl no older than five, holding her horrified mother’s hand. The little girl waves enthusiastically at Suzi as her mother tries to pull her daughter away. She blushes deeply as Suzi giggles.
Suzi calls to the little girl, “Always listen to your mom.” She waves back.
“Okay!” The girl waves once more and takes her mother’s hand in both of hers, yanking at it for her attention, she looks up at her with a renewed look of awe, enthusiasm and innocence, “Mommy, the nice TV lady said I haveta listen to you… she’s smart Mommy, cause you always says that I haveta listen to you… how did she know, Mommy? Do you know the TV lady, Mommy?”
The mother looks at Suzi a bit surprised and very grateful, she mouths ‘Thank you’ as they smile at each other the camera fades to black.Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-1935312108077119372009-05-19T19:24:00.008-05:002009-05-22T14:12:45.633-05:00FWAH: Episode 4 Page 3*Theme Music*

Suzi walks out of her room for the evening’s event. Spotting James she smiles as he grabs the book in order to replace it on the bookshelf. “I want to thank you guys for cleaning the house today. It looks fabulous.”
James pauses with the book in his hand confused, “we didn’t… he didn’t…”
“James?” She shakes her head slowly, “I’m afraid I don’t understand.”
James is suddenly faced with a dilemma, to tell the truth would be helping Gilbert, get caught in a lie would hurt him.
Suzi watches the emotions of conflict fly across his handsome face, “Its okay, James. I just wanted to say thanks.”

James reaches the taxi first and opens the door, he stands back to allow Suzi to enter first. She smiles at him in contemplation while the sound of the others approaching can be heard. James clears his throat, “You look beautiful, Suzi.”
She smiles up at him, “Thank you, James.”
“James, my man… what are you thinking?” James looks over at Gilbert, confusion clearly written on his face.

“She will wrinkle her dress, she should sit up front.” Brandon beams knowing the answer.
Gilbert chuckles, “Not to mention us killing each other for the chance to sit next to her if she sits in the back…”
Brandon’s smile fades as he shoots a dirty look at Gilbert.

“Well now, I don’t want any blood shed on my account!” Suzi quickly opens the door front passenger door and with a visible sigh of relief slips in to the front seat.

The camera focuses once more joining the group at the Botanical Diner. A woman is greeted by the host as the farmer and entourage waits their turn. The farmer tilts her head as she looks at the woman standing before her and watches her walk away to be seated.
“A friend of yours?”
Suzi’s attention is brought back by James’ words. “No, but I can’t help but feel as if I’ve seen her before.” She smiles at him briefly, “then again Over There isn’t exactly a large town, so I’m sure I’ve seen here around.”
Her body immediately tenses, her heart races, a gasp escapes her as a strong hand suddenly comes to rest easily and familiarly upon her lower back. He came from seemingly no where as her attention had been on James. The scent of him fills her senses as he leans in to whisper in her ear. She looks up at him at a loss for words, looks around nervously, nods and follows him without a word.

Gilbert’s breathing is ragged, he fights for control as he leans in and kisses her softly, resisting the urge to wrap his arms around her and ravaging her lips. His voice is husky, he feels her tremble at his touch. His breath tickles her ear as he leans his cheek against hers, “I’m glad you’re doing better. Maybe one day you’ll tell me what happened?”
Pulling back reluctantly, looking up at him breathlessly, her tongue runs across her just kissed lips, “Maybe.”
The host clears his throat and interrupts their private moment, “Pardon Sir, Madame, your table is ready.”

Suzi looks around a bit confused. She looks from Gilbert to James in hopes for some clarification. They sit noncommittally drinking their water not giving her any answers. “Okay I give up.” She points across the room, “I showered… twice! Why is Danny way over there when there is an empty seat next to me?” She pauses and frowns, “And why ‘are’ there two empty seats? Where is Brandon?”
James nods towards the men’s room with an apologetic shrug. “I think all the excitement kinda got to him. He mentioned something about calming his nerves and stomach.”
“And Danny?”
The guys turn their heads and look over at Danny sitting at a table by himself.

“Danny?”
Danny sips his water, grins over his shoulder at Suzi, “Ya?”
“Danny, what are you doing over there?”
He looks around suddenly as if in utter surprise, “Brandon was here a minute ago…”
Suzi does her best to suppress her giggles.

Their food arrives, Brandon is still missing and Suzi’s pleas to Danny go unfulfilled. She finally gives up and smiles at the waiter who has brought their food, “Thank you.”
“You are most welcome. Bon Appetite”
Gilbert gives a quick glance over his shoulder, leans in as if to impart a very important secret. “You want to know why Danny isn’t sitting next to you?”
“Yes!” She looks at Gilbert as if he’d lost his mind, seeing how she just spent the last 20 minutes pleading with the man.

Gilbert motions over his shoulder. “He doesn’t care for audiences when he's eating.” He takes his fork and digs in. Suzi simply looks up at the man standing near by. She hadn’t noticed him standing there. Her attention had been so fixed on Danny.
Brandon makes his appearance. He moves a bit slowly as if measuring his steps, looking at his feet as he walks.

Brandon sits down heavily next to Suzi, leans back in his chair and looks around the table. He spots Danny at the far table and motions towards him with a small nod, “What’s up with him?”
Gilbert’s eyes narrow, “Had you been here you would have heard us going through that conversation already…”
Brandon eyes him quietly, “I see.”
Gilbert eyes him suspiciously. Brandon’s gaze drops to Suzi, he leans closer in an attempt to whisper in her ear, “You look great.” His breath hot on her bare skin.

James stares at his bowl of chili, “Is it too late for me to join Danny?”
Suzi leans forward and lowers her voice, “Yes! I’ve just been having a bit of trouble falling asleep lately… uh… Suzi? Are you okay?” James takes a step forward, placing his right hand hesitantly on her arm giving it a gentle squeeze.
Suzi looks up at him as the lull in the conversation grows, panic apparent in her eyes as they search his. Finally she shrugs her slender shoulders noncommittally and gives him a small grin. He visibly relaxes and lets go of her arm.
“I need to help the guys in the garden. If you need me, you know where to find me. You know you can talk to me about anything… okay?” He watches her closely as if gauging her response. When she simply nods he doesn’t leave her immediately. His eyes search her face, their eyes meet and kisses her forehead.

Lost in his thoughts, James heads out to join the others. He automatically walks in to the garden with out speaking and reaches down to pull at the weeds as was their morning routine. He pauses, stands and looks at his empty hand in confusion. “Hey… what happened to the plants?”
The others have been diligently replanting the crops and salvaging what they could. “Let’s not mention this to Suzi, okay? She’s already stressing…”
“That doesn’t answer my question… but okay…” with a small shrug of his broad shoulders he looks around momentarily and starts the replanting with the others.

Gilbert pauses, water can in hand, “Huh…”
James looks over at him, “What?”
Brandon and Danny laugh at the small inside joke as James looks at them a bit confused. Gilbert’s voice brings him back to his original outburst. “Nothing… its just… I dunno, suddenly this gardening stuff makes a bit more sense.”
Brandon grins knowingly as Danny scratches his head.

“Huh… me too…” James grins at Gilbert and points to the dormant plants, “I think I finally understand… well not ‘everything’ but still… more than before… yanno?”
Brandon and Gilbert nod in understanding as Danny looks at them as if they’ve lost their minds. “You guys are weird.”

The camera catches a glimpse of a towel clad Suzi as she walks in to the small sauna. She firmly closes the door behind her with out a glance at the faltering footsteps behind her. She briefly stands with her back to the door waiting to see if the person connected to the footsteps would follow her. With a sigh of relief she takes a seat allowing the steam of the sauna to sweat her stress away.

Brandon looks around, “Well that ought to do it.” He grins at the other two. His grin slipping to a frown, which quickly turns to anger, “Where’s Gilbert?” His voice takes on an aggravated edge, he can’t recall how long the fourth contestant has been gone or where he has gone off to.
Danny looks towards the house then back at Brandon shrugging, “he said he had to go to the bathroom.”

The sound of the keyboard keys clicking is only interrupted by occasional ‘hmm’ing and a ‘huh’ here and there. Gilbert sits back grinning like a Cheshire cat and waits.

Suzi relaxes. The heat of the sauna doing its job to relieve some of her tension, she sits back propping herself on her elbows, stretching her legs out before her she closes her eyes and inhales deeply, the heat warming her lungs.

He hears a car pull up to the house, he walks to the window to look out front and opens the front door moments before she can ring the doorbell.
“Oh!”
Gilbert smiles his most charming smile, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you. I’m glad you could come on such short notice.” He takes her things and ushers her inside.

Brandon comes storming in to the house, his steps faltering as he spots Gilbert sans Suzi. His mood not wavering, as he stares down the subject of his annoyance, without realizing it, his eyes begin canvassing the area for a glimpse of her.
“Relax.”
Brandon snorts at the suggestion.

“Easy for you to say… where were you? What are you up to?”
Gilbert simply grins and shrugs. “Is it time to read the cleaning stuff? Can’t say I’m really looking forward to it, but if that’s what’s next on the agenda…”
Brandon eyes him suspiciously before nodding. “Ya.”

Brandon contemplates his reading choices, or at least appears to as his mind races, “So uh… you’re not gonna answer me, huh?”
“Nope.”
“You realize two can play that game… don’t you?”
Gilbert grins over his shoulder as a very seductive voice interrupts, “I’m sorry to bother you…”

Brandon falters once more, he’s staggered by the intruder to their sheltered little world. He moves towards the couch grabbing the first thing his hand falls upon. “I’m staying out of this one…”
James stands flummoxed, book in hand he stares incomprehensibly at the woman. Danny stays by the back door appreciating the view before them. “Nice! Very nice… now that’s something.” Brandon scowls at Danny and he laughs, “Dude you’re just sore because you didn’t think of it first.”
Gilbert chuckles and approaches the maid, “No prob. What’s up?”
The maid flashes her smile and smooths her uniform subconsciously as Danny continues to visually appreciate her. “I’ve finished upstairs.”
“Great, there is the kitchen and one bathroom down here. Allow me,” Gilbert ushers her once more through the house.

Hours later Danny suddenly begins to chuckle to himself. The others accustomed to odd outbursts from each other during these forced study times simply ignore him.
“Dude… seriously… stroke of genius.” The others look up at him, Gilbert grins, the other two simply look at him.
“Okay I give… what is?” James prompts him.
Danny points to Gilbert, “Hiring a maid to take care of the house… did you see Suzi today? She’s like frazzled about something. We aren’t great at cleaning… we move dirt around is more accurate so hiring that chick was smart.”
“Not to mention she was…” James’ sentence fades unspoken as the others all mumble in agreement.

The screen goes dark before breaking for a commercial.Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-58576928819561958702009-05-17T09:00:00.005-05:002009-05-22T14:13:38.671-05:00Episode 4: Cleaning Out the Closet*Theme Music*

The music begins to fade as the camera focuses on Lynn, her ready smile beaming as she begins the show.
“Welcome back to Farmer Wants! I’m your host, Lynn Genet. We’re getting ready to join the guys in Cleaning 101.” Lynn gracefully shifts her weight turning toward camera two.
“Our contestants have been such great sports as we put them through various tests of their skills and talents such as gardening, cooking, and fishing. Today’s episode will add cleaning to that list. They will be required to learn new cleaning skills and expand their minds to the various janitorial possibilities.”
Lynn’s eyes dance as she looks directly at the unseen audience, luring them in for tonight’s episode, “For a special treat, our contestants will be joining our farmer for dinner out on the town. Such splendid opportunities for a few stolen moments with our lovely farmer… lets see how our contestants fare, shall we?”

The camera sweeps across the bedrooms and come to a stop on the contestants one by one as they attempt to stir themselves from their slumber. I can just feel it. Something good is going to happen. You’ll see.”

Danny shakes his head sleepily, his feet firmly planted on the floor, curling his toes in the soft carpeting. He stares across the room once more at Brandon noting the obvious pep in his step as he grabs his toiletries and heads towards the bedroom door. “Morning people…” he grumbles as he tries to muster his energy to start the day. The camera suddenly flashes on our farmer as she awakens.

Suzi stretches her arms upwards, elongating her spine with cat like grace. A small squeal of delight can be heard escaping her full lips as she glances out the window at the promise of a beautiful day. With a happy sigh, she gets up, makes her bed and meanders to her bathroom.

The camera comes back in to focus. “Hello?” Suzi’s expression changes instantly, no longer feeling carefree and happy, her brow furrows with annoyance. “Yes?” Momentarily forgetting she is on camera, she begins pacing with the phone to her ear, shaking her head in silent disagreement to the voice on the other end of the conversation. “I don’t mean to be rude, but do get to the point.” She stops her pacing as her brows rise in disbelief. “Giving her my name and phone number wasn’t enough?” She grunts and scoffs, “Oh don’t give me that, she called me. I spoke with her!” She shakes her head vehemently, “I don’t want excuses. I don’t care.”
Suzi closes her eyes as she listens, the stress still plain on her face, yet the annoyance is gone. She stands against the wall, deflated and weary, sliding to the floor she sits with the phone still against her ear, her voice soft almost pleading, “Pao, stop. Please. I told her the truth. She will either believe you or not, she will either believe me or not… it’s no longer my concern.” She softly sighs before responding, “Be happy, Pao.”
She hits the end button and stares at the phone in her hand.

Once more the screen cuts to another scene, Gilbert enters the kitchen and gives Suzi an appreciative glance. He can’t help himself, he soaks in her form making a mental picture of her, saving it to memory, “Good morning, Gorgeous.”
“Hi.”
Gilbert’s eyebrow shoots up immediately at her interestingly short response. “What’s up?”
“Nothing.”
Gilbert stops in his tracks, “Nothing.”

He smirks and stands beside her, leaning easily against the counter. He folds his arms and watches her methodically beat the pancake batter in to submission. “Nothing, huh… then I take it the pancake mix deserves this harsh treatment.” Playfully he wags a finger at the bowl of pancake mix, “Shame on you for stressing her out. Just for that… I’m going to have to take over.”
Suzi blinks rapidly and stares at Gilbert with a confused look, “What?”
Gilbert chuckles at his own ‘joke’, gently yet firmly takes the bowl from Suzi’s hands. He nods towards the general direction of her room, “something is eating at you. Go do whatever it is you need to do. I’ll take care of breakfast.”

Suzi stares momentarily in disbelief at her empty hands. With a resigned sigh, she gives Gilbert an awkward smile, holding his forearm for support she reaches up on her toes and kisses his cheek, “Thanks. I think I will.”
She hesitates briefly, her hand lingering on his arm, she appears to struggle with something, her eyes troubled. She gives his arm a quick squeeze and walks towards her room.

Gilbert finishes preparing the batter as Brandon enters, “Hey.”
“Hey.”
“Where is Suzi?”
“Suzi’s taking the morning off. I’ve got breakfast covered.” He grabs a cast iron griddle and heads to the stove. He turns on the burners, careful fits the griddle over them and watches as it heats.
“Is she okay?”
Gilbert shrugs noncommittally, “Sure.” Brandon frowns unconvinced, he looks towards her room. Gilbert watches Brandon stare down the hall, “She just needs a private moment.”

Brandon grabs a sponge and scrubs the counters down, keeping his hands busy. “Have you seen James this morning?”
“Nope.”
“You don’t think he’s still in bed… do you?”
Gilbert glances over his shoulder at Brandon, they exchange a knowing look and laugh. “Ya, that’s what I figured, too.”

Gilbert’s strong voice rings out, “Breakfast!”
Brandon finishes cleaning up the kitchen, dries his hands on a towel just in time to join Gilbert at the table for breakfast, “Smells good… is that blueberry?” He pours the syrup over his stack and cuts in to them with gusto.
Gilbert stares at the pancakes, “I hope so…”
His fork half in his mouth as his first bite is already in his mouth, he stares wide eyed as Gilbert breaks out in laughter. “Ya its blueberry.”
Brandon shakes his head and chews slowly.

The audience suddenly find themselves upstairs once more, staring at a slumbering James. The soft snoring coming from the bed is disturbed by loud banging.
“Dude, breakfast!” Through the door you can hear Danny’s heave footsteps descend the stairs.
James rolls over and blinks a few times, he looks towards the window in momentary confusion. His eyes fly open in a panic and he jumps out of bed, his voice low in rumbling undertones of cursing as the screen fades to commercial.Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-16423905299533727592009-03-27T17:39:00.005-05:002009-06-05T16:36:25.163-05:00FWAH: Episode 3 Page 4

The screen comes back in to focus on the front door in anticipation of the next contestant to leave. Footsteps can be heard nearing the door, the handle is turned and begins opening.

Out walks Jesse, he hesitates momentarily and glances behind him. He takes a deep breath and continues down the path to the waiting taxi.

As he walks past the camera he gives his little shy smile and quietly continues on.

Lynn’s voice can be heard, “How are your nails, Jesse?”
Jesse looks at her as if she’s lost her mind, “My nails? Are you serious? I just got kicked out of the house and you’re worried about my nails…”
Lynn is slightly taken aback by his sudden disregard for his cleanliness, “You seemed rather concerned about them last night.”
Jesse sighs softly and looks at his hands, first the palm side then turning to look at the backs, speaking to his hands and not meeting Lynn’s gaze, “Do you think that was what she didn’t like about me?”

When Lynn doesn’t answer he shrugs his broad shoulders, “I dunno. She’s sweet. And she didn’t even make fun of me. I like that.” He glances at Lynn, “not that you have, I’m just sayin’ is all.”

Brandon’s voice can be heard some what far away, “James. Your dinner is getting cold.”
James works diligently on the leaky faucet, he raises his voice to be heard through the door, “Coming.”
“You said that fifteen minutes ago.”
James stops, wipes his brow and calls back over his shoulder, “Ya and that was before I found out that a simple washer change wasn’t going to do the trick.”
Suzi opens the door to the bathroom and peeks in, “I can call a plumber, James. Come eat.”
“I’m almost done here.”
Suzi hesitates, “do you uh… want company?”
James smiles up at her, “Go ahead and eat, your dinner will be cold if you don’t.”
Suzi places a hand on his shoulder before leaving, “Thank you, James.”

James digs in despite the food having gotten cold, “You guys out did yourselves. This is great.”
Brandon grins, “Thanks man, so whats up with the tub?”
James swallows and points towards the door with his fork, “The faucet will need to be replaced, its holding its own for now, but it will leak again in a couple weeks. The threads inside are torn up some how and every time you turn the water on or off, it cuts up the washer. It will eventually leak again if its not replaced.”
He takes another bite, and chews savoring the flavor.
“Did Danny lose a bet or something?” She watches as he is cleaning the kitchen.
Danny looks over his shoulder at them a bit hesitantly meeting her gaze and then turning back to his cleaning. Gilbert chuckles, “We made a deal, he got squeamish when it came time to clean the fish, so instead he has to clean the kitchen.”
Suzi smiles at Danny, “Thanks for cleaning my kitchen, Danny.” She turns her attention to James, “don’t worry about the tub, I’ll have that replaced… I appreciate what you guys have done. You’ve really outdone yourselves… a girl could get use to this.”

The screen fades, the theme music plays and the credits begin rolling:

Day 3
Brandon Zackery - 4 skills, 2LB, crush 125+20+20+10= 175
Danny Williams - 4 skills, 2LB 129+20+20= 169
Gilbert Portis - 4 skills, 3LB, crush 104+20+30+10= 164
James Zamora - 4 skills, 2LB, crush 124+20+20+10= 174
Jesse Lomino - 4 skills, 2LB 100+20+20= 140

Main FWAH Page

Back to Over There

Next Episode

Roohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16115267741547198666noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2511773849288856756.post-25820749408568849102009-03-27T17:01:00.003-05:002009-05-06T15:14:48.360-05:00FWAH: Episode 3 Page 3Suzi’s laughter can be heard as the show comes back from the commercial break.

“I’m just saying it’s a good thing criminals are stupid.
